# Website and regional settings

Maintain your website's profile, email identity, branding and regional display settings.

*Release 3.3 · admin, supervisor*

**Settings › General Settings › Website** · **Settings › General Settings › Regional Settings**

## What it is

**Website** holds your account profile, branding and email identity. **Regional Settings** sets the timezone, language and formats used by the website. These settings apply to the selected website account.

## Who uses it and why

Users with the **Settings** role maintain account details and regional choices in the sections delegated to them. Powerfront changes classification and currency on your behalf.

## Where to find it

With the **Settings** role and the relevant delegated screen permissions, open **Settings › General Settings › Website** for **General Website Settings**. Open **Settings › General Settings › Regional Settings** for timezone, currency, language, country and date or time display.

## How it works

Select the correct website before editing. Website details identify the account, while the logo and image supply its branding. Transcript sender and reply-to fields control the email identity used for chat transcripts.

Regional choices set the website's local time and display conventions. **Currency** provides preset symbols or **Custom** formatting, with a preview. **Date Format** offers month/day/year, day/month/year and year-month-day; **Time Format** offers **12h** or **24h**.

## Configure it

1. Open **Website**, update the required profile fields and choose images with **Choose Image**.
2. Set transcript email identity and any alternative outbound server details your setup uses.
3. Choose **Save**.
4. Open **Regional Settings**, select the timezone and display choices, then choose **Save** there too.

Ask Powerfront to change **Instance Type**, **Vertical - Primary**, **Vertical - Secondary** or currency. The sales attribution and control group options share the website screen; review their effect with your reporting owner.

## Limits and good to know

Website regional settings and an operator's personal timezone or language are separate choices. Changing a display format does not itself translate your configured content.

A logo can also be used in the visitor experience. Removing it clears the corresponding visitor-side logo setting. Configuring an alternative SMTP address alone does not establish that all outbound email accounts are ready to send.

## FAQ and troubleshooting

### Why can I view a setting but not change it?

Check your **Settings** role, delegated screen access and **View Only** restriction. Powerfront changes classification and currency for you.

### Why is the website date format different from my preference?

Website regional settings and personal account preferences are separate. Check both screens.

### Where do I change the sender of chat transcripts?

Use **Chat Transcript Sender Email Address** and **Chat Transcript Reply-to Email Address** in **Website**.

### Why is translated content still missing?

Selecting **Language** does not supply translations. Ask Powerfront to configure supported languages, then enter the translated content.
