What it is

A subsite separates a brand, region or country site within one INSIDE website account. Each subsite has its own name and badge, and can hold settings and operator assignments.

Who uses it and why

Powerfront maintains subsite identity and access on your behalf. Supervisors can ask Powerfront to review the Allowed Operators list to check coverage.

Where to find it

Powerfront manages Settings › General Settings › Subsites. Ask Powerfront to edit a subsite or manage its Allowed Operators assignments.

How it works

  1. Ask Powerfront to add a subsite and enter Name and Moniker.
  2. Powerfront chooses a Badge. All three fields are required by the editor.
  3. Powerfront sets brand, region, country and any integration options you use, then saves.
  4. Ask Powerfront to review Allowed Operators and add or remove the appropriate people.

The list can show the subsite's country, badge and allowed operator count. A configured Website URL makes its name or image a link.

Configure it

Ask Powerfront to set the subsite-specific options in its editor. Salesforce record-type choices appear only when the relevant integration is enabled. Scheduling uses subsite details for brand configuration when scheduling is enabled.

To add business attributes, ask Powerfront to enable Subsite Custom Data and declare its Custom Data Variables in Settings › General Settings › Admin, then enter the values in the subsite editor. Ask Powerfront to configure Enforce subsite permissions in queue separately if subsite access should restrict queue eligibility.

Allowed Operators Adds or removes operators' access to this subsite.

Limits and good to know

Active subsite names must be unique within the website account. Deleting a subsite removes it from current use while retaining historical records.

Subsite assignment and queue enforcement are separate choices. A badge or brand label alone does not restrict which operators receive work.

FAQ and troubleshooting

Why will the subsite not save?

Ask Powerfront to check Name, Moniker and Badge, and that another active subsite does not already use the name.

Why are custom fields missing?

Ask Powerfront to enable Subsite Custom Data and declare its fields first.

How do I change who serves a subsite?

Ask Powerfront to change its Allowed Operators list, or have a user with the Settings or Manager role and the required operator permissions edit the operator's Allowed Sub-sites.

Does deleting a subsite delete its history?

No. Removal retires the subsite from current use and retains historical records.
