Live show Showcase and product interactions
Feature content during a live show and let visitors browse items, mark favourites and react.
What it is
The live-show Showcase holds the content visitors can browse while watching. A host can feature an item so connected viewers see the same focus. Visitors can open item details, mark favourites with a heart and send reactions.
Who uses it and why
- Operators prepare content and feature the item currently being discussed.
- Visitors browse show items, keep track of favourites and use available shopping links or basket actions.
Where to find it
With the Live Shows role, edit a show at Settings › Live Shows › Shows and open Showcase. Reusable items are available through Settings › Live Shows › Content Library. The host console and visitor show experience also include Showcase.
Powerfront manages account presentation defaults at Settings › Live Shows › Accounts.
How it works
Prepare the show's content in the order you want to present it. During the show, select an item in the host Showcase to feature it. INSIDE updates the focused item for connected viewers and records the change in the show's history.
Visitors can open Showcase to browse available content and item details. Selecting an item's heart marks it as a favourite; selecting it again removes the mark. Reactions can be associated with the current item, and published replay can also accept content reactions.
Heart animations are limited so repeated live likes from one participant are not broadcast more often than about once a second. This limits the visible animation, not the meaning of the recorded reaction count.
If configured, post-show follow-up can include the viewer's favourite items. Links and basket actions use the website's configured shopping experience.
Configure it
With Live Shows access, edit the show and prepare its Showcase. Set Hide all Showcase Prices or Open Showcase links in New Tab where required. Use Heart Color in Advanced to change the heart presentation.
Ask Powerfront to change Hide all Showcase Content Until Focused if visitors should see items only after the host features them. Enable Add to Basket is available only where the website's live-show basket capability is enabled and integrated.

Limits and good to know
- A host can feature only an item that exists in the show's current content list.
- Content hidden until focused will not behave like a fully visible catalogue at the start of the show.
- Hiding prices changes the Showcase presentation; shopping destinations can have their own price display.
- Likes are not purchases, and a reaction total is not a count of unique buyers or viewers.
- Do not rely on favourite marks as a permanent cross-device shopping list.

FAQ and troubleshooting
Why are some items missing from the visitor's Showcase?
Ask Powerfront to check whether Hide all Showcase Content Until Focused is enabled, and check whether the host has featured those items.
Can a visitor remove a favourite?
Yes. Select the marked item's heart again.
Why do several quick likes show only one animation?
Live heart animations are throttled per participant. The animation is not a direct display of every recorded reaction.
Why is there no Add to Basket option?
The website needs the live-show basket capability and a working integration, and the show must enable the option. Ask Powerfront to check the setup.
Do Showcase likes count as sales?
No. Sales and their attribution are handled separately from content reactions.
