Personalised performance insights
Receive personalised insights, review earlier insights and use the available like and share actions.
What it is
Insights delivers information and feedback to you inside INSIDE. You can open notifications, return to earlier insights and, where available, like or share them. Administrators control website preferences and which options operators may change.
Who uses it and why
- Operators read their insights and adjust the personal preferences available to them.
- Supervisors share useful insights with colleagues and review the information delivered to their own account.
- Administrators with Settings access configure website insight options and permitted personal customisation.
Where to find it
Select Insights in the operator console. On mobile, use Insights from the more menu or select View Insight on a notification.
Website configuration is at Settings › General Settings › Insights with the Settings role. Operators with the Settings or Manager role can also adjust an operator's insight preferences at Settings › Account › Operators, subject to account-management restrictions. Powerfront manages Enable Insights at Settings › General Settings › Admin.
How it works
- Open Insights to review delivered items. The notification badge shows the unviewed count, using 9+ for counts above nine.
- Open an insight to read it. Viewing is recorded separately from receiving a notification.
- Select Like where offered. Select Liked again to remove your like.
- Select Share where offered and confirm that you want to share it with colleagues. A successful action becomes Shared.
- Use the settings icon in the Insights window to adjust available personal preferences, then select Save.
On mobile, Dismiss closes the notification. It does not perform the same action as opening and viewing its insight.
Configure it
Ask Powerfront to enable Insights for the website. It is off by default.
With Settings access, open Settings › General Settings › Insights. Choose the available insights, set their displayed defaults and criteria, and use Operators can Modify to control personal customisation where offered. Some automatically triggered insights have fewer options. Cooldown Time, when available, accepts 0 to 86400 seconds; its fallback is 3600 seconds when no value is supplied.
In your personal Insights settings, Disable Shared Insight Alerts prevents alerts when another operator shares an insight with you. This preference is off by default. Choose the other available insight preferences and select Save. Disabled controls indicate options you cannot change personally.

Limits and good to know
- Insight types and customisable fields vary according to the delivered definitions and website configuration.
- Expiring insights do not offer Like or Share.
- An insight shared by a colleague can be liked, but cannot be shared again from that received copy.
- Sharing is a one-time action for an insight. There is no unshare action in this screen.
- Insight delivery is separate from exporting or emailing a reporting table.

FAQ and troubleshooting
Why is Insights missing?
Powerfront can check whether Insights is enabled for the website. Enabling the website feature also makes the available preference controls accessible.
Why can I not change an insight preference?
The website can restrict personal changes. Someone with Settings access can review the available Operators can Modify choices.
Why can I not share an insight?
Expiring insights hide sharing, and received shared copies cannot be shared again. An insight you have already shared shows Shared.
Why is an insight still unviewed after I dismissed its notification?
Dismissal closes the notification. Open the insight to view it.
Can I stop shared-insight alerts?
Open your personal Insights settings, turn on Disable Shared Insight Alerts and select Save.
