Image and font libraries
Maintain images and font references that you can select when configuring website branding and chat appearance.
What it is
The Image Library lets you upload and select reusable images for website and operator appearance. The Font Library stores named font references for chat styling. Branding settings select those assets for a particular use.
Who uses it and why
Users with the Settings role and the relevant Image Library or Fonts permission maintain approved branding images and font choices. Developers provide font addresses and custom styling for the visitor experience.
Where to find it
With the Settings role and the relevant screen permissions, open Settings › General Settings › Image Library for images. Open Settings › Chat › Fonts for the screen titled Font Library. Settings › General Settings › Website contains Company Logo and Website Image.
Visitor appearance is configured in Settings › Chat › Themes. The older Settings › Chat › Chat Pane screen contains Custom CSS, Site Logo and Force logo size (w, h).
How it works
In Image Library, use New to add an image. Image selectors in other configuration screens let you choose an existing image and preview the selection. Removing an image from a particular setting and deleting the reusable asset are different actions.
In Font Library, choose New, enter Font Name, and supply a font stylesheet address or font-file addresses. Save the font, then select it in the appearance settings that use it. You can edit a font or delete it after confirmation.
Configure it
Grant Image Library and Fonts to users with the Settings role who maintain branding. Upload the required images, then use Choose Image on the relevant branding field and save that screen.
For fonts, enter a name and at least one address. The font editor accepts a stylesheet address and up to five file addresses. Keep those resources available to the browsers that display your visitor experience.

Limits and good to know
- Custom image uploads accept JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, APNG, WebP, AVIF and icon formats, including common JPEG filename variants.
- A unique font name is required. The editor checks supplied addresses and requires at least one.
- Adding an asset to a library does not apply it to every theme automatically.
- Check where an asset is used before deleting it. Deletion does not establish automatic replacement in existing configuration.
- Legacy Chat Pane settings and Themes are separate appearance editors.

FAQ and troubleshooting
Why has uploading a logo not changed the website branding?
Select the uploaded image in Company Logo, Website Image or the relevant chat appearance setting, then save that configuration.
Why will a new font not save?
Enter Font Name and at least one valid stylesheet or file address. Correct any field marked with an error.
Why can I view the libraries but not edit them?
Ask a user with the Settings role and Operators permission to check your Settings role, Image Library, Fonts and your view-only Settings access.
Will deleting an image replace it wherever it is used?
Do not rely on that. Update the settings that use the image before deleting the asset.
